Refund Policy

Last updated: July 27, 2026

1. Try before you buy

Sorcerer is free to use for 14 days — no card, no account, full product. The trial exists so that nobody needs to buy the App to find out whether it works for them. We strongly encourage you to use it before purchasing.

2. Brazil — right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in Brazil, article 49 of the Consumer Protection Code (CDC) gives you 7 days from the purchase date to withdraw from an online purchase for any reason. To exercise it, email bugs@sorcerer.app from the address used at checkout and we will refund you in full.

3. European Union and United Kingdom

EU/UK consumer law normally grants a 14-day withdrawal period for distance contracts. For digital content, however, that right is lost once the download or activation begins with your express consent and acknowledgment. By downloading the App or activating your license key, you consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that the withdrawal right no longer applies. Your statutory rights for defective products remain fully intact — if the App is faulty, contact us and we will repair, replace, or refund as required by law.

4. Everywhere else — goodwill

Outside the cases above, sales are final. That said, if something is genuinely wrong — the App does not run on a supported macOS version, your license never arrived, a duplicate charge — email bugs@sorcerer.app within 14 days of the purchase and we will make it right, including a refund when that is the fair outcome.

5. How refunds work

Refunds are issued by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record, back to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer. Once a refund is completed, the associated license is revoked: already-activated copies keep their local files (your notes are plain markdown on your disk — always yours), but the App reverts to an unlicensed state.

6. Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a chargeback — most issues are solved in one email. A license involved in a chargeback is revoked, per our Terms of Use.
